Track an express parcel on the official courier website.

Select DHL, FedEx, UPS, SF Express or another courier, copy the tracking number and open the official result. Courier scans cover the parcel network but may not explain every customs or address exception.

Use the correct reference

The tracking result depends on the number and operating carrier.

01

Courier tracking number

The parcel identifier created by DHL, FedEx, UPS, SF or another courier.

Use the exact number shown on the label or dispatch confirmation.
02

Multi-piece reference

Some shipments contain a master number plus separate package numbers.

Check whether all pieces have been scanned and delivered.
03

Supplier order number

A factory or marketplace order number is not automatically a courier number.

Ask the sender for the operating courier and waybill number.
04

Foresmart shipment reference

The operating reference for a courier or express booking arranged by Foresmart.

Use this when customs, pickup or delivery needs human follow-up.

Typical express-parcel journey

Courier wording differs, but parcel movements usually follow these recognizable events.

07

Scheduled, estimated and actual

Do not read every date as a confirmed physical event.

SCHEDULEDPlanned movement

A booking, vessel, flight or delivery plan that can still change.

ESTIMATEDCurrent prediction

A carrier-calculated milestone based on available operating data.

ACTUALRecorded event

A departure, arrival, handoff or delivery scan that has already occurred.

EXCEPTIONAction or disruption

A status that may require documents, payment, approval or carrier follow-up.

When tracking is unclear

Common reasons a result is missing, delayed or incomplete.

First verify the carrier, reference and timestamp before treating a missing scan as a lost shipment.

Label created only

The sender created a waybill, but the courier has not recorded pickup.

Address or contact issue

A missing unit, postal code or phone number can stop delivery.

Customs request

The courier may need importer details, product information, documents or payment.

Multi-piece mismatch

One package can arrive while another remains in transit or exception status.

Weekend or local holiday

The next operational scan may wait for the destination service day.

Postal or local handoff

Some couriers transfer final delivery to a local partner with a new reference.

Foresmart shipment support

Carrier tracking shows events; Foresmart can connect them with the shipment scope.

For cargo booked by Foresmart, send the carrier number together with the quotation or shipment reference and the milestone you need clarified.

Why does tracking only say “shipment information received”?

The label or waybill was created, but the courier may not yet have physically collected or scanned the parcel.

Only when the courier explicitly uses that number. Usually you need the separate waybill or courier tracking number.

The courier or broker may need product information, importer details, documents, duty payment or government release.

The parcel is assigned to a local delivery route, but delivery can still fail because of access, address, signature or timing.

For a Foresmart-booked shipment, the team can coordinate with the responsible courier or partner when the carrier process allows it.
